Frequently Asked Questions

Why did my nonprofit receive funds from Percent Impact Foundation?

A donor or company recommended that we deliver donations to your cause via our partner, Percent.

How does Percent Impact Foundation process donations?

Donations are disbursed to charities on a monthly basis - as a single aggregated payment - into a charity's bank account.

If the aggregated value of the total donations does not meet the minimum payout amount of USD50.00 the charitable funds will be held until they equal the threshold. All pending donations will be disbursed after twelve months, regardless of whether the minimum disbursement amount has been met.

Aggregating payments and setting a minimum threshold reduces the administrative burden for charities when receiving payouts.

The charity must have also enrolled with our partner, Percent, and have shared their bank account details for verification. Learn more here.

Does Percent Impact Foundation review benefiting charities?

Yes, all benefiting charities have to pass specific eligibility checks, including being registered as a Charity with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) exempt from Federal Income taxation under Section 501(c)(3), and classified as a Public Charity under Section 509(a)(1) or 509(a)(2) of the Code, and have passed compliance and due diligence reviews, such as AML, and Sanctions review.

How does Percent Impact Foundation work with Percent?
